In true Georgia style, Shelly chose to get married in a beautiful courtyard garden of the Prospect House in the historic community of Alpharetta. The home, with its sweeping staircases and southern style wrap-around veranda was the perfect place to showcase her wedding flowers. "I chose them to represent "peaches" because my husband and I are both from Georgia." says Shelly.
The Style File
Shelly kept the garden theme in mind as she created her wedding day look. She wore an a-line, asymmetric dress. "I liked the corset back and the organza overlay was perfect for the outdoor garden setting. Also, the dress wasn't overly formal, since the wedding was more on the casual side." says Shelly. Her hair was done in a romantic updo with tumbling curls and a simple veil attached in back.

"I was able to get the perfect jewelry for my bridesmaids and me at Anna Bellagio." says Shelly. "I wore the Double Fiorella Earrings which were not overwhelming but had just the right amount of sparkle."
